A photo of a prototype sticker codenamed ‘D10’ claims to prove that the iPhone 7 will be coming with a 32GB base storage configuration, via @the_malignent. This would mean there will be a shift in Apple’s iPhone lineup, and corroborates with previous reports that Apple will finally end 16GB flagship iPhones.

The sticker reportedly is from a prototype iPhone 7, with the ’32G’ designation representing a 32GB iPhone in silver. With a 32GB base configuration, rumors expect Apple to raise its top tier with a new 256GB storage option as well. The iPhone 7 is expected to be announced next week at Apple’s September 7 event.

Raising both the base and top-tier storage options could be due to a dual-camera on the iPhone 7 Plus, Live Photos or 4K video, requiring much more storage for such camera improvements.
