IOS 7 Revealed, But Which Features Will Work On Your Older IDevice?
So, by now you should now that iOS 7 has been released. If you didn’t, you should either check out our roundup post with all the new features or hit Apple’s events page to find out more.
Although some of the features are incredible, there’s always that risk that older devices get phased out. The iPhone 3GS – understandably – won’t be getting the new OS at all.
However, the past three generations of iPhone and iPad will be supported, as will the iPad mini and last two generations of iPod touch. That said, there will be some of the features unsupported. Here’s a lowdown on the features and whether or not they’ll work on your device.

iPod touch 5th gen

As you can see, although you will get the major user interface changes, a lot of the new features in iOS 7 will not be available to 4th gen iPod touch users or iPad 2 users. If you have anything older than those, you won’t get anything at all. It might be time to get rid of your iPhone 3GS finally.
Kudos to Gizmodo for the digging.
