Apple Kicks Off WWDC Lottery And Scholarship Registration For Developers
Developers, get excited. Apple has today opened up registration for scholarships for WWDC. The company is also kicking off its annual WWDC lottery. Since WWDC is so popular, Apple likes to raffle off the seats available instead of doing a first-come, first-serve basis. Apple is expected to unveil iOS 11 and macOS 10.13 at the conference.
The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off on June 5 and runs through June 9. After being held in San Fransisco for the past several years, Apple has decided to host the conference in San Jose at the McEnery Convention Center instead.
If chosen, developers will be charged $1599 USD to attend the conference, which does not include travel or hotel costs.
Developers can register at developer.apple.com/wwdc/tickets/; students can visit developer.apple.com/wwdc/scholarships/ for more information.
