Apple Extends Its MacBook Pro Anti-Reflective Coating Repair Program
If you own a 12-inch MacBook or any MacBook Pro with Retina display, Apple will replace the screen if the anti-reflective coating is beginning to wear off, free of charge.
Apple will replace Retina displays on eligible models purchased between June 2012 and October 16, 2017, or within three years of the original purchase date, whichever is longer. The program was extended to allow customers a longer window to repair their Macs.
It’s recommended that customers who are experiencing this issue schedule a Genius Bar appointment and get them replaced as soon as possible.
