Along with other minor betas going out today, Apple has seeded its first beta of OS X 10.11.6 to developers. This relatively minor update to OS X El Capitan focuses on stability and bug fixes. No visual changes are in this version compared to the latest stable release.
While there may be nothing new on the outside, this update still will be good for the public once it is released. An update focusing on security enhancements, performance improvements, and bug fixes is always welcome.
Those with access to OS X betas may not find much to test and play with in this release. With just under a month to go before WWDC, however, developers have just a little longer to way before the beta of OS X 10.12.
Those with access to the OS X developer beta can download the update now in the Mac App Store.
