This morning Apple has sent out invitations to a special event being held at 10:00 am PST on September 9th, 2014. The invite comes with the tagline “Wish we could say more.”

Interestingly, this event will be held in Cupertino at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts. Apple events are more commonly held at Apple’s own campus or at the Yera Buena Center in San Francisco.

At the event, Apple are expected to unveil the new iPhone (or iPhones), with the possibility of other product announcements also making an appearance. We’ve heard rumors of an iWatch for quite some time, with a report just yesterday claiming we’ll see it announced at the September 9th event alongside two new iPhones. We’ve also seen quite a bit of iPad Air 2 leaks and rumors, however it’s very possible Apple could have a separate event in the future to announce it.

Today’s iPhone will have as-they-happen updates on the event on September 9th, so be sure to tune in for all the latest product announcements from Apple!

I can’t help but wonder if the tagline, “Wish we could say more,” has two meanings.
    1. Apple has so much to unveil that they can’t wait to tell us about their new products.
    2. Much like the “Let’s Talk iPhone” tagline, there is something related to the product itself in the tagline. ‘Do you wish you could say more to your device, your home, or something else?’

I think we’ll see something else that is voice activated at this event, and I don’t mean a hands-free Siri that is available in iOS 8.
