The company was founded in 2002 and comes from Dragon Systems, a perhaps better-known company. It’s one of the pioneering forefathers of the modern voice recognition technology we all know so well today.
According to TechCrunch, the deal was actually completed in 2013, which goes to show how hush, hush Apple can be. Maybe it’s not the case when it comes to iPhone announcements, but no one’s judging, right?
As part of the deal, the team behind Novauris has been working on an updated version of Siri, with it expected to be announced and shown off at some point this year.
