iPhone caller ID coming to Fitbit Force in February

fitbit_force_caller_id-820x420If you have a Fitbit Force or have considered getting one, you will probably like the new feature that will be coming in February. Announced back in October, the feature will finally be coming to devices via a software update the second month of this year. It doesn’t really do all that much, however, only showing you the name. You can accept, cancel, or anything really. Just see the name is all.

Also, there wasn’t anything said about this coming to Android. As of now, it appears that this caller ID feature will iOS only, so Android users are left out on this one. Other devices, such as the Pebble smartwatch, allow you to answer or reject the call when it received. Granted, the Fitbit Force is marketed as a fitness band and not a smartwatch or something that is necessarily meant to have smart capabilities unrelated to fitness.

What do you think? Will this make you pick one up? Or do you already have one? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
