iPad Air, iPad mini and new Nexus 7 all compared in a speed test/benchmark comparison [video]

Earlier today, one of our friends, Tom Richardson uploaded a great comparison video to his personal YouTube channel. In it, he compares the iPad Air with the new Nexus 7 and iPad mini (1st gen) using benchmark and speed tests to see which comes out on top of the race to be the fastest performer on the market. Unsurprisingly, the Air with its awesome A7 chip does well in every test. Perhaps testament to its capabilities is the fact that Apple opted not to to go with the usual ‘X’ branding on the iPad chip.

Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think of the results.
