A new jailbreak tweak has been released if you are someone who stayed back on the old software in order to keep your custom software, and what it does is bring burst mode to the stock iOS 6 camera application. Now, it isn’t going to be as fast as the burst mode found on iOS 7 inside the iPhone 5s’s camera app, however it is faster than you can get pictures right now. You can also disable the shutter animation along with the “preview” animation that shows the picture dropping down into the photo album.
As you can see above, it includes quite a few different options instead of simply adding the burst mode capability. Also take note of the “Safe” switch under “Burst Mode Interval.” What this does is makes sure that the previous picture has been saved before taking another in order to ensure that pictures aren’t lost or that your phone ends up crashing due to it trying to do too many things at once (such as saving multiple pictures at the same time). If you are on iOS 6 jailbroken still, or on 6.1.3/4 hoping that a jailbreak will be released, this can be had for free via the usual BigBoss repo in Cydia, so happy downloading.
What do you think? Are you going to use this? Or do you have the 5s to do burst mode instead? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
