If you are shopping for the new iPad Air and can’t decide between going to Walmart and taking advantage of its lower price or one of the other miscellaneous places that offer the device, then you can head in to either Apple, Best Buy, or Staples and still get the same price that you would at Walmart. That’s right, going into an Apple Store, a Best Buy, or a Staples (in store only, not online) you can get the iPad price matched with the Walmart price, getting you the device for a slightly lower $479. According to some, Staples is actually offering the device at $479 on its website also, so that is pretty awesome.
If you are going to do this, you will have to head into a physical Apple Store or Best Buy and ask for them to price match Walmart, and you probably will have to show some proof of the price such as bringing up the tablet on Walmart’s website, which can be found here: iPad Air. The devices have been selling out some places, with others showing that they have plenty of supply. You can check out Cam’s unboxing of both the iPad Air and the smart case for it here: iPad Air, Smart Case. Like I said, these discounts aren’t available online, only in stores (except for Staples, find that here: iPad Air), so head on over to your closest Apple Store or Best Buy if you are looking to get in on this.
What do you think? Are you going to get in on this? What store will you choose? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
