Good news for those waiting on an iPhone 5s shipment from Apple. The shipping time on Apple’s online store has now officially been changed. Previsouly, buyers were given a very general “October” time frame for shipping from the online store. Tim Cook and Co. has finally updated the website to show that the device will be shipping within 2-3 weeks.
In addition, it is appearing as if Apple is predicting deliveries to new customers within the first week or two of November. Even though the shipping time is in 2-3 weeks, Apple estimates that it could be a month before some customers are set to receive their shiny new iPhone. The online store is estimating a delivery date of anywhere from the first week of November until November 11th. While this may still seem like quite a wait, it’s better to have a more solidified time frame, rather than the very broad “October” that was available before.
While this isn’t perfect, it is much better than before, and this should be good news for anyone waiting to buy a device. Are any of you waiting for a shipment from Apple’s website? Drop a comment below, or tweet me at @TiP_Griffin.
