GoPro app update adds ability to wirelessly transfer photos and videos

goproIf you are the owner of a GoPro camera, listen up. The GoPro for iOS application has just been updated to 2.0, and brings with it some nice new features that social GoPro users are going to enjoy. One of the most notable features of the update, however, is the one that adds the ability to wirelessly transfer photos to your iOS device via your GoPro camera. Here is the full change log for version 2.0:

What’s New in Version 2.0

What’s New in Version 2.0
• View photos and play back videos*
• Copy photos and videos* to a GoPro album on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
• Share the photos and videos* copied to your device via email, text, Instagram, Facebook® or other app
• Browse and delete files on the camera’s memory card

NOTE: The latest camera software update is needed to use the new GoPro App features. Visit gopro.com/update to download update.

As you can see, you’ll need the new GoPro update in order to access these features, so if you are interested in doing so, better get that update. If you are interested in the app update, however, or just the app in general if you are a new GoPro owner, you can check that out here: GoPro App. I personally do not own one, but if I had a good use, I’d get one. These cameras are awesome, and if I ever find the right excuse I’ll be picking one up on the spot.

What do you think? Are you a GoPro owner? Like the new features? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
