Microsoft’s iPad mocking TV ads continue, this time Dell XPS 10 spotlighted [video]

You may remember a couple of weeks back, Microsoft started airing ads comparing its tablets to the iPad. In both occasions it chose the 2-3 features the Windows tablet had over the iPad, in both occasions, those features weren’t exactly killer. The same is true this time around as the Dell’s expandable storage feature is highlighted as is the zoomable Home Screen. See, that’s exactly what I’m going to look for when I’m buying a tablet. Forget the better screen ratio, better app store, great battery life, beautiful design, reliable ecosystem and all that other good stuff. What I really need is to be able to zoom in to my home screen. Also, I’ll pretend I can’t just go out and buy an Camera Connector kit… At least when the Mac vs. PC ads were running people did care about Apple’s features.

I’m sorry, but someone needs to explain to Dell why the iPad is being used in offices, hospitals, and homes all over the world!

Zoomable home screen is retarded!!!  The only thing I’ve really wanted was a full-sized SD card slot; it’s big enough and I don’t see why not.

Even though that is a nice zooming feature for the visually-impaired, the iPad and other Apple products can already do that. It’s under the Accessibility feature. it just takes a different gesture to zoom in.
