If you’re a fan of the Mailbox email client that is currently available on iOS, then you will sure be glad to hear this, given you’re also an iPad user. As you can see in the above tweet, Mailbox’s developers are indeed working on an iPad version. The new Dropbox-owned email client also sent out some tweets in response to questions over a possible OS X release of the app, and it seems that it is at least under consideration. You no longer have to wait in line if you want to try out the long-awaited email client, as the developers finally opened the flood gates to anyone that downloads the free application. If you are interested in new features, it’s really as easy as checking out the Twitter page…also hinted at was iCloud support, to which the Mailbox team responded “Rome wasn’t built in a day!” Well, obviously neither is iCloud support, but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming.
What do you think? Do you use Mailbox? Hoping for an OS X version or iPad version? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
