Interesting iOS 7 concept imagines ever-available drop down toggles menu

I know, it’s very easy to confuse a “toggle” with a “toogle”, but we’ll cut the designer some slack in this case. Instead of making use of the Notification Center drop-down drawer to add toggle switches, he’s imagined what it would be like if it was always available as an option in the top-right hand corner of the screen. Seemingly, it doesn’t matter if you’re in your Lock Screen or Home Screen, it’s accessible.

One of the main reasons I jailbroke my iPhone was because I wanted quick access toggle switching for things like airplane mode, Bluetooth etc. To have it as easily available as this would be awesome. What do you think? How should Apple integrate quick-access settings toggles in the next major iOS update?

Well, it isn’t new. Someone just took a chapter out the Palm OS statusbar. although it could look better.

hmm, seems familiar.. where have I seen this before.. on the HP TouchPad first, then later in Android ICS, and now in an Apple iOS 7 concept only 2 years behind the competition…!
