Gogo has released its latest infographic showing the browsing trends of airborne passengers. More passengers than ever are turning to tablets and phones over laptops, with the majority of those being iOS loaded gadgets. The iPad is the most used tablet, by a long shot.
As you can see, iOS is used more than 5 times as much as Android during plane journeys, with the largest majority of those devices being iPads. Although Android’s share of use has grown since 2011, it’s still nowhere near as popular onboard as iOS. It makes you wonder: are Android devices unusable, or are their owners just embarrassed they don’t have an iPad/iPhone?
