The App Store is chock full of weather apps, and it seems we just can’t get enough of them. That being said, I’ve found it impossible to find one that didn’t compromise in some way. You either get a feature-rich app that’s cluttered and messy, or a minimalist app with little depth. Thankfully, and extraordinarily, Haze has pulled it off.
The new weather app – designed by Robocat and Taptanium, looks like a WeatherNeue wannabe on the surface. But – as noted by TUAW in an early review – “…a few gestures applied to the right part of the screen will unveil a wealth of weather data.” It somehow manages to maintain a simplistic design approach and still give you as much information as you could possibly need. Virtually every site reviewing has loved it from The Verge, through Engadget and lifehacker.
We’ve not had our hands on it yet, but will bring you an overview very soon. If you’re already convinced, head on over to the App Store and download it now. It costs $0.99 and is compatible with iPhone 4, 4S and 5 as well as the 4th and 5th gen iPod touch, as long as you’re running iOS 6.0 or later. Check out GetHaze.com for more information.
