Fake iPhone 5S logic board featuring A7 chip photo leaked, claims to be the real deal

It’s no secret that in the blogging world, there’s nothing like an iPhone rumor to bump up traffic for the day. The latest supposed “leak” had no sooner appeared and it was quickly debunked. iOS Doc received a photograph from a supposedly reliable source. It claims to be the logic board for the next iPhone (5S).

If it looks familiar, that’s because it’s pretty much identical to the iPhone 5 logic board. (Below).

So it’s not surprise to see it look the same. But, that also makes it easy to fake. All you need to do is take a photograph already in existence and doctor it a little using some PhotoShop (or similar program) magic, et voila, a 5S.

I suspected almost immediately that something was up, and my thoughts were confirmed by the guys at 9to5Mac. The “A7″ marking doesn’t look quite right. The ’7′ is a little less clear than it should be. Zoom in and you seem some inconsistent pixels. I’ve put a zoomed in image next to an A6 one that’s genuine.

I’m not buying it. I’ll leave it up to you to make up your own mind.

The thing is, your blown-up picture of the A6 has some “inconsistent pixels” in the “6″ as well. LOL!

I totally agree. All these iPhone 5S pictures are fake. No one really knows what the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 are going to look like. People are posting fake pictures of iPhone to get traffic. Lot of them at http://www.iPhone5sreleasedate.com
