Three more metro areas getting better iPhone coverage from T-Mobile

Are you an iPhone user on T-Mobile? I’ve got some good news. Three new metro areas are gaining increased coverage and faster speeds for iPhones. As part of its $4 billion plan to improve coverage that supports the iPhone, the following 3 areas are getting the increased coverage:

  • Washington D.C.: Alexandria, VA; Arlington, VA; Chevy Chase, MD; Falls Church, VA; Laurel, MD; McLean, VA; and Silver Spring, MD.
  • Baltimore: Glen Burnie and Towson, MD
  • Houston: Cypress, Jersey Village, Humble, Kingwood, and The Woodlands.

CTO of T-Mobile, Neville Ray, said, “Customers in these areas can now bring their unlocked iPhones to T-Mobile, experience a significant speed boost on our network, while also saving up to $50/month compared to AT&T.” For those with unlocked iPhones, this sounds like a great deal. If, of course, you live in a supported area.

What do you think? Are you able to take advantage of this? Waiting for your area to get the green light? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
