Apple fixes iCloud: Breaks iMessage in the process

Apple claims that all problems with iCloud that surfaced yesterday have been resolved.

Yesterday’s outage saw 50% of users unable to access documents, with others reporting erased emails and syncing delays. It does however appear that Apple have tried to slam a revolving door, because now iCloud has been fixed, Apple’s iMessage service is experiencing problems.

Reports show that the service fails to activate when set up with a phone number. Tested by Cnet, when iMessage was turned off and on again, the service provided a ‘waiting for activation’ notice. Having turned the phone off and on again, the service was fine.

Have any of you experienced problems with either service? Let us know in the comments!

iCloud down again Aug. 6, 2012.  When I finally got a hold of someone in support, in the CPU section, the guy said he'd see a whole string of calls coming in despite the System Status post that everything was fine. I asked if he had passed his info up the chain. He said he hadn't but he would.  iCloud is the WORST!

Yep, can't activate my iMessage. Stuck on waiting for activation

Why are people stuck on grammatical errors? As long as you can understand the post, what is the big deal! I wanna see other readers thoughts on the articles content, not "nit picking" about the use of one word over another!
