Just in case you weren’t aware: the London 2012 Olympics kicked off last night. We saw James Bond and the Queen entering in dramatic fashion, we gazed in awe as some florescent butterflies rode around on bicycles, and gawped as Paul McCartney’s backing track went out of sync. If you’re in the States you will also have seen some new Genius ads by Apple. (Sadly, we got no commercials at all over here since the whole shebang was aired on the tax-funded BBC.)
