Xbox Live for iOS app gets update, you can now control your console

Microsoft just updated their My Xbox LIVE application for iOS, bringing the number up to version 1.5. The update includes Retina iPad support, and some cool iPhone features.

One of the most notable features added for iPhone users is the ability to control your Xbox 360 console through the application. It allows users to control on-screen content through play, stop, etc. Here is the full change log from iTunes:

  • Use your iPhone with your Xbox to connect, control and discover content on your console. Connect your iPhone for access to a quick list of your most recent console activity. Control your content with play, pause, fast forward and rewind media controls. Find fresh entertainment to play in the new Discover section.
