Apparently the next big thing coming, other than the new iPhone, is a movie on brilliant Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs. According to Reuters, Steve Wozniak (Apple’s co-founder) has been taken on to help tutor Aaron Sorkin, the screenwriter, who stated:
“I know so little about what I am going to write. I know what I am not going to write. It can’t be a straight ahead biography because it’s very difficult to shake the cradle-to-grave structure of a biography.”
While certain that the movie will be made, Sorkin is unsure on how to approach it. He wants people to focus on Steve Job’s life and accomplishments. He feels that it’s hard to do this in a biography style movie, simply because the majority of the focus is on the “beginning to ending” mentality.
I am excited for this movie, as I think many fanboys are. I just hope it does Steve justice. I, among many, would be upset if the movie portrayed Steve Jobs in the wrong way. We all know of his infamous characteristics. Let’s just hope it comes across on the screen and in the writing.
