Spotty signal has plagued the iPhone for a long time now. Everyone remembers the death grip right? Maybe you remember it as antennagate? Well there might be an easy solution thanks to the jailbreak community.

Redmond Pie, a reputable source of tech and iOS news, reported on a jailbreak app called SignalRefresh. The app helps “boost” your signal by kicking your phone off the mobile network and forcing it to reconnect to the nearest cell tower for the strongest signal. It’s extremely easy to use and accomplishes the same thing as toggling airplane mode on and off.

I think the idea is great and I am pretty excited to try this out. I love anything that helps make my iPhone more consistent overall, so this definitely seems like something I will be using asap. Cell signal can be spotty in my area so hopefully this helps with that.
