Jailbreak only: GarageBand will work on your iPhone 4 (video)

You guys wanted more jailbreak content, so here’s your first little snippet from me. Using a jailbroken iPhone and a nifty hack, one iOS user managed to get GarageBand for iPad running on his iPhone 4.

This is a bit of joke. I mean, anyone who jailbreaks should know you can take pretty much any app that is "ipad only" - copy it from a jailbroken iPad's app folder and just copy it verbatim to the iphone's jailbroken app folder. (or download the app from where ever) This 10 min act will have you running this program as this guy has on your iphone. Did it the first day Garageband was released. Discovered the uselessness of having it at the resolution it was and deleted it. Now a REAL hack would be taking the Garageband code and altering the resolution of the app itself to not only run but to run properly on the iphone 4. Good luck. I'd love to see a release group get into that sort of thing. I think it would take some heavy programming. (Mainly the routing of audio and midi to the iphone and reformatting all the graphics to the smaller res.) I played around a bit, but i have a job.
