iPad 2 video camera glitches showing up
If you have an iPad 2, and have used the camera function to test out its HD capabilities, you may well have experienced some color glitches upon playback. What seems to be happening is that for a few frames during the video the colours in certain areas go crazy, and distorted. It seems to be when the light is brightest, when the camera is trying to adjust itself.
Although it’s only happening for a few frames, making it easy to miss, it shouldn’t be happening at all. Not only is it effecting the rear camera, but also the front facing camera during FaceTime calls. This says to me that it’s a software issue, and unfortunately, iOS 4.3.1 hasn’t fixed it. I could be wrong though, it could be the hardware, which would prove harder to fix.
Check the video below, glitches are seen at 0:35, 1:19 and just after 2:08.
