Over at Media Bistro a blogger recently discovered one amazing fact. The Bing search app for iPhone can take pictures of books/DVDs/video games or scan barcodes using your device’s in-built camera. After reading about it, I had to try it. I’ll tell you this much, I’m starting to think Microsoft can realistically tackle Google in this area. Google of course has it’s own version, ‘Goggles’, which, as of yet is not available for iPhone. With Bing having a product scanner as part of its search app, it means all your search needs are in one place instead of needing countless apps to do different things.
