Unlock for iPhone 4 — available soon

One of the biggest questions since the announcement of the new iPhone 4 has been, “When can we jailbreak and unlock it?” Well this may come sooner than later as MuscleNerd from the DevTeam Tweeted yesterday that they are closer to unlocking the iPhone 4.

This is good news for those who are chomping at the bit to unlock and experience “this fully operational death star.” (Sorry I slipped with the movie quote there!)

For those out there who live in France, Canada or the UK, you can purchase an iPhone 4 unlocked.

In the UK you will have to drop £499 for the 16GB model, and £599 for the 32GB model. In France you can expect to spend €629 for 16GB and €739 for the 32GB, while in Canada, your price tag is $649 for the 16GB and $749 for the 32GB.
