Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! The time has finally come to jailbreak your iPhone with 3.1.3 OS and your iPad with 3.2 OS. Please be aware as this is for jailbreaking only. This will not unlock your iPhone or iPad. If you rely on unlocking the device to use it for another carrier other than AT&T then don’t use this.

The newest jailbreak is coming to us in the form of Spirit and has been developed by the iPhone Dev team. So where can you find more information about this jailbreak? You can read more about it here. Be sure to follow the instructions as there are some difficulties with windows PC users.

There has been much attention to this jailbreak for good reason. There was a lot of speculation as to whether or not this jailbreak would even be released. The biggest concern has been with the jailbreaking of the iPad with wi-fi and 3G. Would you be able to use this on a different provider or would you be stuck with AT&T? With a few simple modifications to a SIM card and a future release of an unlock, we shall see the iPad 3G being used on any GSM network. (Fingers crossed.)
