Apple today is releasing tvOS 10.2 for the Apple TV. The release is a minor one containing, “new features, bug fixes, and improvements in the OS and SDK.”
Specifically, tvOS 10.2 brings:
- Accelerated Scrolling support for UIKit and TVMLKit apps
- Device Enrollment Program support
- Expanded Mobile Device Management support
- Support for the VideoToolbox framework
While it is a minor one, we recommend staying on the latest version of tvOS on your Apple TV. Since its inception, Apple has slowly been improving its TV app, which allows users to have a centralized hub for all of their TV and movie content.
