Apple IPhone 8 Rumored To Have A “Water Drop Design”

This year’s iPhone model is one that many people expect to be an iconic device. Marking its 10th year of creating iPhone devices, the iPhone 8 is something to seriously look out for.

Just recently, industry analysts spoke with ET News and divulged how they perceive the device will look like. On their report, the iPhone 8 is expected to feature a “water drop design” which will pay tribute to its original look.

This means that the phone will feature a curved rear with gentle and rounder edges compared to the metal case edges of iPhone models in the more recent years. For its back, the device is said to feature a 3D glass material, which would make it resemble the original iPhone’s case.

But as far as similarities go, these are all the things that matter. For one thing, the iPhone 8 will likely be a larger smartphone with a 5.8-inch display. Not only that, it will have a thinner body.

The design is also expected to be assembled with glass, contrary to the plastic material used in the second iPhone model. Carrying over the technology used in previous iPhone models, the iPhone 8 is also rumored to include a 3D sensing front camera and wireless charging for its battery.

Since the iPhone 8 is being planned to be released as a 10th anniversary device marking Apple’s success, there is much evidence that points it could have a premium price tag compared to its previous models.

There is still a lot of time for Apple to make changes with its iPhone 8, especially since nothing has been officially announced yet. We’ll know more about the device once we near the expected release date.
