Apple Responds To Trump’s Recent Decision Regarding Transgender Rights

Apple has voiced its opinion against President Trump regarding transgender rights for students. This wouldn’t be the first time Apple has fought against Trump’s order, previously arguing against the administration’s travel ban.

In a statement to Axios, Apple says that transgender students should have an equal opportunity as everyone, with no discrimination or stigma. The company also says that it believes in greater acceptance, not less.

“Apple believes everyone deserves a chance to thrive in an environment free from stigma and discrimination,” the company said in a statement to Axios.

“We support efforts toward greater acceptance, not less, and we strongly believe that transgender students should be treated as equals. We disagree with any effort to limit or rescind their rights and protections.”

Apple is notoriously known for fighting for equal rights and the LGBQT community.

However, it’s unclear if Apple will move forward with this decision or not.
