IPhone 8 Concept Shows Stainless Steel Bands, Redesigned Camera, And Curved Glass
With this year’s iPhone being rumored to abandon its aluminum design in favor of glass and stainless steel, similar to the iPhone 4/4s, a concept designed by Imran Taylor gives us a look at what such a design could possibly look like in the modern era.
The concept begins with a thin stainless steel strip that runs around the phone with tapered glass edges in both the front and rear of the phone which could help with comfortability when using the phone.
Apple last used the flat-glass body design with the iPhone 4s, though the iPhone SE uses a similar structure with its aluminum-dominant body.
The concept also depicts an iPhone with a dual vertical camera design in addition to an iPad Pro-style Smart Connector.
What do you think of this concept? Will you be upgrading to the new iPhone this year?
