Apple Is Temporarily Relocating Its Flagship Fifth Avenue Apple Store On January 20 For Renovations

As reported by MacRumors, Apple’s iconic Fifth Avenue Apple retail store will be relocated on January 20 as the company plans on renovating it. Apple has posted a sign outside of its store letting customers know. The store’s temporarily location will be in toy retailer FAO Schwarz, which is right next door to the Apple Store.

As of right now, it’s unclear what Apple will be doing in terms of renovation, or if the company plans on keeping the cube design. Apple has been slowly renovating its older stores worldwide to accommodate its now larger product lineup and user base.

In 2011, the company renovated its Fifth Avenue store to make the design more seamless, making the glass piece count go from 90 to 15. As for what we should expect from the renovation, that remains to be seen.
