BeatsX Now Delayed Until February, After AirPods Launch

You can’t win all of them. And that seems to be the case with Apple as well. While the company’s AirPods officially became available to order today, with deliveries as early as December 19, its BeatsX models won’t ship until early next year, as some rumors suggested.

BeatsX were originally announced in September with a ‘later this fall’ release date, but it has now been pushed back until February. As per typical Apple, no reason has been given for the delay.

Like AirPods, BeatsX earphones are Bluetooth headphones that reply on Apple’s W1 chip for fast pairing, switching, and reliability. AirPods and BeatsX are priced at $159 and $149 respectively, but the AirPods have shorter battery life and don’t rely on a cable to connect each earbud.
