As most of us know, Apple is expected to dramatically redesign its iPhone in 2017, with at least one model featuring an OLED display. Now, KGI Securities analyst is reporting that Apple’s flagship iPhone lineup will feature two 5.5-inch variants.

The report says Apple is expected to introduce three new iPhone models in 2017. One of which will include an OLED display, while the other two will continue to use the TFT-LCD display technology.

The dual-camera system introduced with the iPhone 7 Plus will continue to be a 5.5-inch model exclusive. If this holds true, Apple’s new iPhone lineup will look something like this:

  • 4.7-inch iPhone with LCD display and single camera
  • 5.5-inch iPhone model with LCD display and dual camera
  • 5.5-inch iPhone model with OLED display and dual camera

With this lineup in mind, it’s possible that Apple will price the 5.5-inch model with an OLED display higher than the $649 and $769 price points for the entry level iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
