Line Dividers Going Up Overnight At Apple Stores Suggests New Macs May Go On Sale Today

Apple’s media event doesn’t kick off until 10 AM PT today. During the event, we expect the company to announce new Mac hardware including the much anticipated MacBook Pro.

Pricing and availability have yet to be announced and the rumor mill seems to not know either. However, Apple Stores do appear to be readying for something new as soon as today.

A Reddit user (via 9to5Mac) posted pictures of the San Fransisco Apple Store where employees were gearing up by preparing line dividers and measuring floor space as if they’re preparing for a new device launch. Most will believe this would be for new Mac laptops but it could be anything that’ll be on sale after the event is over.

The comments section on the thread does indicate that it’s not just the San Fransisco Apple Store as other retail locations are doing the same. Historically, Apple has not put up queues for new Macs but only for iPhone. It’s possible that Apple has something else up their sleeves that nobody knows about.

Nonetheless, we’ll know for sure in a few hours at Apple’s event kicks off at 10AM PT. Stay tuned to Today’s iPhone as we’ll have full coverage of the event as it’s happening live.
