Apple Sends Survey To Customers Regarding Headphone Jack On MacBook Pro
The most controversial feature about the iPhone 7 is the lack of a headphone jack. Now, it appears that Apple may be preparing a MacBook Pro without it and many other standard ports as the company is asking users about what ports they use on it. So it may be a possibility that Apple will kill it on its MacBook Pros as well..
Shared via MacRumors, addresses various areas of concern in the upcoming MacBook Pro. Arguably the most important question is, “Do you ever use the headphone port on your MacBook Pro with Retina display?”
Other questions relate to various other ports on the current MacBook Pro, such as asking how you import photos, or if you’re satisfied with the battery life.
Early leaks of the new MacBook Pro’s chassis show that there will be a few USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack so it’s unlikely that the company will drop it on their Pro computers. It’s more likely that Apple will drop the headphone jack first on its 12-inch Retina MacBook (and maybe add another USB-C port?).
