Good news to all those who love to watch sports games on their TVs. FOX recently launched a new tvOS app called FOX Sports Go, which allows you to watch four different games simultaneously on split-screen mode. Using your fourth-generation Apple TV, you can watch these games at a remarkably fluid speed of 60 frames per second.
The new feature was first reported by MacRumors, who reported that the split-screen feature of the app allowed its users to watch different basketball, football, hockey, and baseball games simultaneously. Or as further explained, users can enjoy watching games from NBA, MLB, NFL, UFC, NHL, UEFA Champions League, and many others; depending on the restrictions imposed on the region of the user.
Users who have access to FOX Sports TV networks because of their pay-TV subscription may also use their Apple TV to access content from FOX Sports, FOX Sports Regional Networks, FS1, FS2, FOX Soccer Plus, FOX College Sports, and FOX Deportes. Through the FOX Sports Go app, users will be able to view over 3,000 live events along with hundreds of hours of original content and studio shows.
Among the live programs available include the ones from the NFL, UFC, MLB, NASCAR, Pac-12 Football, FIFA World Cup, Big 12, Big East Basketball, and UEFA Champions League soccer. In addition to live programs, full seasons of hometown MLB, NBA, and NHL telecasts may also be accessed through the app. However, these will be subject to restrictions brought about by regional locations.
If you want to install FOX Sports Go on your Apple TV, you may search for it under the tvOS apps on the App Store. The app is only available for fourth-generation Apple TV devices operating in the United States.
