With everyone calling the next iPhone model the ‘iPhone 7’, some may forget that it may not be called that. With the new model expected to look very similar to the iPhone 6/6s, Apple may call it something else to echo that it won’t be a radical change.
There have also been several rumors saying that the larger 5.5-inch model will be called the iPhone 7 Pro as apposed to iPhone 7 Plus, some even saying that there will be both models.
But, reliable source Macotakara says this won’t be the case. The report says Apple will keep its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus naming scheme and will also include a touch-sensitive Home button.
As we get closer to the unveiling of the new iPhone, more and more leaks and rumors become available as Apple begins to ramp up production for the device.
