An image shared from Nowhereelse.fr, shows what could possibly be the packaging insert for Apple’s upcoming iPhone. Specifically, it refers to the larger 5.5-inch ‘iPhone 7 Plus’, with the 4.7-inch model presumably called ‘iPhone 7’.
The packaging indicates that Apple will be bundling Lightning EarPods with a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter in every iPhone 7. It also shows that, at least on the Plus model, the new iPhone will be coming in the rumored 256GB storage configuration.
Many expected Apple to ship an adapter separately and have it as a separate accessory, something Apple tends to do. However, if this rumor is true, Apple will be including the adapter in the box, on every iPhone 7 model.
Other details include ‘EarPods with Lightning Connector’, suggesting that there will be no change in design, aside from a change in ports. Apple has the trademark for ‘AirPods’, which would indicate the company will sell the wireless earbuds as a separate accessory and will not be bundled.
Apple has a media press event scheduled for Wednesday, September 7. This is when the company is expected to unveil its iPhone 7 lineup, alongside Apple Watch 2. Stay tuned to Toady’s iPhone for live coverage of the event and all of its announcements.
