Citing supply chain sources, the second generation Apple Watch will debut this fall in September or October (via DigiTimes).
The report says component makers and Apple suppliers are seeing “rather conservative orders” for the new Apple Watch, disregarding its release date.
This information directly conflicts a similar report from DigiTimes in June noting that the Apple Watch has “higher-than-expected” orders. With that said, DigiTimes’ information does not paint a clear picture as to how Apple sees the device.
While the supply chain rumors can’t be trusted from DigiTimes, the September or October release date lines up with all previous rumors. Some rumors suggests Apple will be launching the Apple Watch alongside the new iPhone in September.
