TaiG Releases IOS 8.1.1 Jailbreak

This weekend a new Chinese Jailbreak was released to the public. The TaiG Jailbreak comes just a few weeks after the release of iOS 8.1.1, which rendered the Pangu Jailbreak useless. This new Jailbreak is capable of Jailbreaking iOS 8.0-8.1.1.

Currently, the tool is Windows only and is in Chinese. There’s no word on when or if the tool will become available on Mac and be translated to English.

The Jailbreak is one of the easiest Jailbreaks in recent times, and only requires users to disable Find My iPhone, disable the Passcode/Touch ID, and put the device in Airplane Mode.

The Jailbreak is also extremely quick, as it takes about 1 minute to complete. As with the Pangu Jailbreak, this Jailbreak installs Cydia as well as a Chinese piracy store, unless you uncheck the box to do so when Jailbreaking.

If you’re looking to Jailbreak your device(s) running iOS 8.1.1 (or any previous version of iOS 8), stay tuned for our tutorial coming tomorrow!
