Waterfield Designs is well known for creating fantastic bags, holdalls, wallets and all kinds of carrying accessories. Very rarely do you find anyone who’s tried one and doesn’t love it. One of its least expensive items, is unsurprisingly one of its smallest: The Finn Wallet.
It can carry your iPhone, cards, cash and keys without risking you scratching your precious device. It’s fantastic, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of my favorite things ever.
Most of the case that I got sent is made of one piece of waxed canvas. There are plenty of other options though, most of them being various colors in leather.
The canvas is durable, has a real authentic feel about it and is stitched to the zipper and leather panel on the bottom edge really well. On the inside are two small-ish pockets for cards, keys, cash or anything else that might fit, with a main compartment for your iPhone in the middle.
Of course, you don’t have to keep your iPhone in there at all if you don’t want to, but that’s what it’s been designed for.
In daily use, it’s something of a life saver. Previously, my leaving the house routine (as with many of you I predict) was checking individual pockets for my phone, wallet and keys. In that order too. Tap, tap, tap on my right, left and back trouser pockets. With the Finn Wallet, I can put them all in one and carry it in my jacket or trouser pocket.
It might not look like the height of technological amazement. And it isn’t. But it is a brilliantly made and incredibly useful wallet/case for iPhone. And given its quality, coughing up $39 for it seems like small change.
