Thieves have stolen iPhones, iPads and Macs from the Kurfurstendamm Apple Store in Berlin, after crashing an Opel Corsa into the shops glass front in the early hours of the morning.
At 4:15 AM, the thieves crashed the car through the shop’s glass front, lifting iPhones, iPads and Macs from displays before making a quick getaway in two Audis. This kind of incident is sadly frequent in Berlin, particularly in more recent months.
Last year a similar theft took place when thieves used a car to break into the Promenade Temecula Apple store in California. The technique is proving disturbingly effective, and you can expect that the Kurfurstendamm store will remain closed for a few days in order to recover.
