Complimentary 20GB ICloud Storage For MobileMe Members Expires

If – like me – you were a legacy MobileMe customer who paid for 12 months access the same year iCloud was launched, you’ll have had the luxury of 20GB worth of free iCloud storage for the past two years. Sadly, that luxury has come to an end and everyone from today has been downgraded to the usual, free 5GB storage account.

If you’re using more than the 5GB will give you there are other options. I found that most of my old storage was being hogged by my camera roll backup. So, I shifted them to Dropbox instead. I have a 75GB account with Dropbox, thanks to having used a HTC One and Galaxy S3/S4.

If you don’t have a a large enough Dropbox account, you could consider Copy.com, where you can get extra free storage at a generous rate just for sharing it with your friends. Lastly, you could just delete all the poor photos from your phone and keep them on your Mac/PC.
