New IPhone Ad Aims Focus At Camera (And Your Heart)
A new iPhone ad is making rounds online, and for good reason. The minute-long commercial features a montage of happy iPhone customers the device’s camera in just about every setting you can imagine.
There’s a single piano playing throughout most of the commercial. In fact, there’s only one spoken line of audio: ”Everyday, more photos are taken with the iPhone than any other camera.”
This ad harkens back to the first FaceTime commercials, which made you want to buy an iPhone and also call your grandpa and tell him you love him. Apple’s been playing around with the feeling of its ads a bit lately, but I’m happy to see it’s getting back to the kind-of-corny-but-in-a-good-way advertisements that have done the company so well in the past.
Check out the video above (unfortunately it’s pretty low quality, but it’s the best we could find at the moment) and let us know what you think. Is the ad effective?
