GarageBand For IOS Updated, Now Includes Audiobus Support And Better Note Editing

GarageBand for iOS just got what is probably it’s most important update yet. Version iOS 1.4 was released with a host of new features, most notably support for third party app, Audiobus.

The app, developed by A Tasty Pixel, allows users to use other audio apps in conjunction with GarageBand. Apps such as Futulele, Amplitube, Figure plus a whole host of other popular musical apps (full list here). It opens up a a great number of new possibilities for home musicians.

Some other improvements from the App Store description:

• Play and record music apps supported by Audiobus directly into GarageBand*
• Turn off grid snapping to get finer control over region and note editing
• Fixes an issue that resulted in feedback while connecting 3rd-party audio accessories into the headphone/microphone jack

All in all, it looks like a rather tasty app update, and one which I’m sure will go down well with Boyce Avenue wannabes everywhere. Download GarageBand for iOS at
