Google today announced it’s Google Maps SDK version 1.1 which is now available for iOS developers. The new SDK includes new mapping tools that allow developers to include ground overlays, which allow developers to superimpose images on top of the maps, and new viewing gesture controls.
The new SDK also allows developers to more easily acquire the new SDK, as it is available to everyone, and doesn’t require developers to submit registrations.
